Bindings
The bindings we recommend are:
Half leather: the spine of the book in leather or parchment, and the rest in cloth or paper;
All leather: As the name states the book is bound completely with leather or parchment;
In cloth: which can be cotton, hemp or synthetic.
Leather bindings can be worked in various ways including engraving, with traditional lettering and gold leaf (22 karats)
The body of a book can binded:
- by hand with a special machine (filo refe)
- in a cold way using Lumbeck glue.
